La Traviata, the great drama by Giuseppe Verdi, based on the novel The Lady of the Camellias by Alexandre Dumas fils, is one of the most represented operas in the world. Set in its own time, it greatly shocked the public because of its protagonist's libertarian spirit. Violetta Valéry, a luxury prostitute, is a person in constant evolution and full of nuances; her destiny will inevitably be tragic.
