In Paris at the end of the 19th century, a group of young bohemians struggles against precariousness. Poverty and cold, however, do not prevent them from enjoying life and Paris. Marcello's love with Musetta and, above all, Rodolfo's love with his neighbour Mimì, will make the harsh reality break into their lives and put an end to a youth that will be gone forever.
