In Sitges, we know as Americanos, the Indians who left the town in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, to make their fortune on the other side of the Atlantic, especially in Cuba. Many of those who were luckier and returned home, built houses and mansions, which contributed to urbanize (and modernize) the small area of Sitges with buildings that still show their architectural and artistic beauty today, in addition to the its patrimonial value.
This route goes through streets such as Illa de Cuba, Francesc Gumà, Jesús, Sant Bartomeu and Cap de la Vila, among others, to be able to appreciate some of these buildings of eclectic, neoclassical or modernist styles from the late 19th and early 19th century 20th
